The Platform

Built To Work Harder
Than The Land It Flies Over

Where accuracy meets efficiency: the R-40 can fly up to 1,600 acres per day — about 20 acres per tank fill — with its 40-gallon spray tank and 330-pound dry tank.

Using Lidar and omni-directional radar, the drone can easily navigate and operate in uneven, muddy, or otherwise inaccessible areas. Paired with its All-American controller and software, this drone can handle anything you throw at it.

Engineered for operators who measure days in acres, not hours.

Core Specifications

The Numbers That Matter

Coverage
1,2001,600
Acres Per Day

About 20 acres of coverage per tank fill. Complete large-scale spraying or spreading operations in a single working day — the kind of coverage that makes tight application windows possible.

Speed & Swath
31 MPH
Application Speed

A spray swath up to 50 feet moving at 31 mph covers a greater width on every pass. More ground per lap, fewer laps to run.

Capacity
40 gal
Tank / Take-Off Weight

40-gallon liquid tank. 26-gallon solids capacity. 330-pound dry tank, 660-pound maximum take-off weight. Eliminates the need for multiple specialized machines.

Sensors
360°
Radar + Forward LiDAR

Engineered for tough terrain access. Operates cleanly in uneven, muddy, or otherwise inaccessible areas where ground rigs get stuck.

Coverage depends on rate, terrain, weather conditions, and mission profile.

Capabilities

One Platform. Every Mission.

Interchangeable mission kits let you move from liquid application to solids spreading to heavy-lift tasks without changing aircraft.

Precision Spraying

Targeted herbicide, fungicide treatments, foliar fertilizer, insecticide, and plant growth regulators. Variable rate spraying delivered with the kind of accuracy that reduces chemical waste and protects margins.

Solid Spreading

Switch from liquid to solids in minutes. Precision cover crop applications, seed spreading, and dry fertilizer. One aircraft, multiple operations.

Heavy Lift

A 660-pound maximum take-off weight unlocks use cases beyond the field. Equipment transport, supply drops, and applications where ground access isn't possible.

Tough Terrain Access

360° radar paired with forward-facing LiDAR lets the R-40 operate in uneven, muddy, or inaccessible terrain. Built for the narrow spray windows when ground rigs can't roll.

Responsive Software

Revolution Drones builds software for American farmers. Point-to-point spraying shipped in 45 days. Variable rate in ~60. Features you ask for get built, not queued behind a foreign roadmap.

Industry-Leading Warranty

The GTEEX Revolution Warranty program was designed by farmers, for farmers. When something needs service, Truss stocks the parts and turns it around. No runaround, no overseas queue.

Why Farmers Buy It

You Don't Buy A 40-Gallon Tank.
You Buy Back Your Day.

The R-40 earns its keep on outcomes: fewer inputs wasted, fewer operating hours, fewer chances for a weather window to slam shut.

01
Reduce Input Losses

RTK-grade accuracy keeps product on-target. Chemical waste drops, seed goes where it's supposed to.

02
Lower Operating Costs

Less fuel. Less labor. Fewer ground rig passes compacting the soil you're trying to grow in.

03
Tough Terrain Access

Spray during the narrow windows when the ground's too wet to drive. Don't miss the pass.

04
Multi-Role Functionality

Spray, spread, lift. One platform handles the jobs that would have needed three pieces of equipment.

05
Sustainable Operations

Lower carbon footprint. Optimized resource use. The operation your grandkids can run, too.
